Day 1:

NJP Railway Station / Bagdogra Airport- Gangtok (5500 Ft /1677 Mts, 135 Kms / 41⁄2
-5 Hrs).
On arrival at NJP Railway Station / Bagdogra Airport you will be received by our office executive
who will assist you to board your vehicle to Gangtok. Upon arrival proceed to the hotel for
check-in; the evening is free for leisure. Overnight stay at a hotel in Gangtok.

Day 2:

Excursion to Tshangu Lake and Baba Mandir (12400Ft / 3780 Mts / 43Kms / 3Hrs)
After breakfast, in the morning, start for excursion to Tshangu Lake (12400Ft / 3780 Mts / 43Kms
in 3Hrs one way from Gangtok) & through Kyongnosla Alpine Sanctuary and Baba Mandir
(13100Ft / 3994 Mts / 16Kms in 1Hrs one way from Tshangu Lake) (no entry for foreigner
national, they are allowed to visit till Tshangu Lake, with a valid permit. They also have to be 02 &
above is the number to visit Tshangu Lake). Situated at a height of 12400 Ft / 3780 Mts / 43Kms
in 3Hrs one way, with an average depth of 50 ft. The cool water of the Lake is perfectly attuned
with the scenic beauty around. Back to Gangtok and Overnight at the Hotel. (Incase of Landslide
or due to any other reasons if Tshangu Lake is closed then an alternate sightseeing will be
provided) Optional Nathula(14140 Ft / 4310 Mts / 20 Kms in 1Hrs one way from Tshangu Lake)
Baba Mandir (13100Ft / 3994 Mts / 16Kms in 1Hrs one way from Tshangu Lake) is an Indo China
border, controlled by the Indian Army & is situated approx 20 Kms ahead of Tshangu Lake at an
height of 14140 Ft / 4310. The journey to Nathula & Baba Mandir is the same up to 16 Kms. At
this point the right arm of the “V” which is 4 Kms takes one to Baba Mandir & left arm of the “V”
which is 4 Kms takes one to Nathula

Day 3:

Transfer to Lachung

Early morning breakfast – Next start for North Sikkim package tour – Leave Gangtok at about 10
A M proceed to Lachung 119 kilometers – 41⁄2 hours – 51⁄2 hours – Lachung is situated at an
altitude of 8600 feet - On the way stop and enjoy a few wonderful locations like Tashi Viewpoint,
Kabi Lungstok, Naga Waterfalls, confluence of Lachen chu and Lachung Chu at Chungthang,
Twin Waterfalls and Bhim Nala Waterfalls - The roads are colored with full bloom of Primulae,
Rhododendrons and many other Alpine flowers Guest specially during spring – Guest are likely
to reach Lachung at late afternoon or early evening - Check into the hotel / resort - Evening free
to stroll around the village - Dinner will be served at about 8 PM – Overnight stay at Lachung.

Day 4:

Yumthang Excursion - Gangtok Drop
:
After breakfast drive towards Yumthang situated at an elevation of nearly 11800 feet - On the
way you may visit the famous hot spring which is known for its curative properties of skin
diseases - Yumthang is a valley near the river Lachung Chu surrounded by mountains where the
tree line ends - In spring the valley erupts in riots of colors as Primulae, Rhododendrons and
many other Alpine flowers in full bloom along with snow covered valley except in autumn - Return
to resort at Lachung for Lunch - Back to Gangtok - 125 kilometers, 4 – 5 hours drive - On the way
stops at Singhik and Mangan - Back to Gangtok Evening free to roam around M G Road (Mall) or
local Shopping center - Overnight stay at Gangtok.

Day 5:

Gangtok Sightseeing- Darjeeling (7380 Ft / 2250 Mts/135 Km/3-31⁄2 Hrs)
After breakfast you will be taken to a half day city Tour of Gangtok. Half day sightseeing which
includes Research Institute of Tibetology (Closed on Sunday & govt. Holidays), Do-Drul Chorten,
Directorate of Handicrafts & Handloom (Closed on Sunday & Govt. Holidays), Flower Show. In
the evening you will be transferred to Darjeeling for an overnight stay at a hotel in Darjeeling.

Day 6:

Darjeeling Sightseeing
\Early Morning at 04:00 AM visit Tiger Hill, famous for sunrise over Mt. Kanchendzonga, on the
way back, visited Ghoom Monastery, Batasia Loop and back to the hotel. After breakfast,
proceed to visit The Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, PNZ Zoological Park (closed on
Thursday) , Tenzing Rock, Tibetans Refugee Centre (closed on Sunday), Tea Garden (outer
view), Rope way, Japanese Temple & Peace Pagoda. Overnight stay in Darjeeling.

Day 7:

Darjeeling- NJP Railway Station / Bagdogra Airport (105 Kms / 31⁄2-4 Hrs)
After breakfast at the hotel transfer to NJP Railway Station / Bagdogra Airport for your onward
journey. As you go home let the everlasting memory of the radiant Himalayas and this beautiful
serene place linger in your mind and prompt you now and again to revisit this place
